Our LED Evolution

Back in 2003, Littlite introduced the first-generation LED gooseneck task light series. These initial products utilized six white LED chips, producing a modest light output with a cool, blue color temperature (6000K). It marked the beginning of our LED lighting journey.

Given that most Littlite users were accustomed to the performance of our Q5 lamp, we set it as the benchmark for our LED lights in terms of output and color temperature. Our customers often requested "more light" and a "warmer color."

Thanks to advancements in LED technology over the years, we have made significant improvements in our LED products without increasing costs. In fact, in some cases, we have been able to lower the cost of our LED lights. This progress has allowed us to manufacture a diverse range of specialized task lights, including Ultra Violet, Night Vision Green, and Infrared lights.

Our current Standard Gen V LED lights surpass the Q5 in terms of output, producing 398 Lux compared to the Q5's 235 Lux. These lights also emit a warm white light output at a color temperature of 4000K. On the other hand, our ANSER products provide an impressive 795 Lux with a toasty 3100K color temperature.

As we received requests for cooler light temperatures, we began contemplating a Littlite solution that could cater to different customer requirements within a single lamp. This led us to develop our new LED-3 and LED-3-UV products.

The Littlite LED-3 allows users to select between three distinct light outputs: Warm (3000K), Daylight (5000K), and Cool (6500K). Meanwhile, the Littlite LED-3-UV products offer selectable White, Red, and UV outputs. Both options are available in our usual lamp set configurations, including IS/Installation and Automotive products.

With one lamp offering three different lights, we are confident that our LED-3 and LED-3-UV products will meet various customer needs. It's like finding the perfect fit, just like Goldilocks would approve.
